Again there is a chance to enjoy the three day festival and the overwhelming emotions of Gaudeamus!
Gaudeamus DVD contains the whole concert packet of the Students song- and dance festival. DVD is composed of 2 colorfully decorated DVD-ROMs where you can find video material with the duration of 4h55.
The intro takes us to intense organizing meeting and to congratulating event of chief-conductors in the Ministry of Education and Research and academic opening ceremony in Tartu University Hall that had limited accessibility for festival quests. Also one could enjoy participants party at the accommodation area, get a glimpse of city performances, church concert and opening of the memorial stone in Toome Hill.
The full length of Gaudeamus Grand Opening Ceremony with fire sculptures and Gaudeamus Baltic Students Song- and Dance Festival 2006 taken place in Tartu Songfestival Arena on the 2nd of July are waiting for your appreciation on this DVD.
As an additional surprise the DVD ends with Lithuanian students artistic movie clip Inside Gaudeamus 2006, reminding us that Gaudeamus is not only a performance but a way of life - combining friendship, unity and national pride.
