The administration of Latvian
Music Academy
visited Tartu
on 17th of November. The visit was initiated by the Rector of Latvian Music
Academy Juris Karlsons, prorectors Andris Vecumnieks and Armands Lapins and
technical assistant Ugis Jaunslavietis.
The aim of the visit was to get familiar with Gaudeamus
performing areas in Tartu University Hall, St. Johns Church
and Songfestival Arena. The meeting involved discussions about Gaudeamus
opening ceremony, repertoire of concerts, street events and accommodation of
participants.
From the side of Estonian Gaudeamus organization
committee there were present Alo Ritsing - the chief artistic Leader, Renee
Nõmmik - chief choreographer and stage director for dance festival, Ene Raid - counselor
of Estonian Youth Work Centre, Eneken Koka - office manager and Kulno Kungla -
council manager.
